In 2022 I visited India. (I am at liberty to admit to it in 2026). I travelled from Copenhaguen to New Dehli and from there to the city of Itanagar in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, India (four stops in between, a total of 23 hours). I visited a young Tibetan man I met on a gay dating app (Growlr). The young man in question introduced me to Tibetan Buddhism. We went on a weekend trip to the Myanmar (ex-Burma) border. This border is located in the eastern part of Arunachal Pradesh (Patkai Bum area).
This was the only time in my life I have departed from the cultural context of Western civilization.
(I prefer to never do so as a rule)
