“Behold That Man is like the Lyre and I dart like the Plectrum, the Man Sleeps and I AM AWAKE” - Montanus of Phrygia

About this weblog.

"What has traditionally been known as the Devil card expresses the realm of the Taboo, the culturally rejected wildness and undigested shadow side that each of us carries in our subconscious. This shadow is actually at the core of our being, which we cannot get rid of and will never succeed in taming. From its earliest versions, which portrayed a vampire-demon, this card evoked the Church-fueled fear that a person could "lose their soul" to wild and passionate forces."  - Tarot_com

"And The Word was made flesh, and dwelled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of The Father,) full of grace and truth." John 1:14

To the never defeated Esoteric Tradition of The West !

Its about taking responsibility for developing a self referential spiritual viewpoint premised upon a solitary relationship with God, independent of established Churches or religions but based on the message of Jesus Christ and the esoteric tradition of the West. I could have chosen The Blessed Prophet Mohammed or The Buddha to be the medium of reconciliation between my fallen self and God; but out of Free Will I chose Jesus Christ.  This is not narcissism, because in fact my first premise is that God is Holy (separate) and that Only He Is. This is not egoism because my second premise is that I am a FALLEN entity before God. When I pray to God, I do so in the name of Jesus Christ; because only in that way would my prayer be worthy of being heard. I believe that the Holy Spirit manifests HERself as agent of revelation.

That said, I follow the Christian Heretics, because Jesus Christ was in fact, a Jewish Heretic. I have studied different variables of Alexandrian Gnosticism (specially the Cainites), Montanism, Arianism, Docetism, Pelagiaism, Nestorianism, the anti-Chalcedonian positions of the Oriental patriarchates, Rose Croix, Mormonism, as well as radical variables of the Reformation; such as the Adamites and read many a confession of the anabaptists. I've studied all the apocryphal Gospels in the Thomas tradition (inclusive the Gospel of Thomas), and the newly discovered Gospel of Judas. Outside the context of Christianity, I've looked at the Esoteric Tradition of The West: Tarot, Alchemy (The Book of Abraham The Jew), and both Jewish Kabbalah and Christian Cabala. Outside the context of Judeo-Christianity; I've dwelved in Druidism,  Wicca and Afro-Caribbean Santeria. Beyond the Western traditions of esoterica I've paid close attention to Shingon Buddhism.

I want to clarify that I chose ''the devil'' tarot card above to be the symbol of this weblog; because it is a classical symbol of all that is ''heretical'' as far as establishment Western  religion (orthodoxy) is concerned, not because I am a ''devil worshipper''. In fact I reject Lucifer, and by ''Lucifer'' I mean the argument that ''the pain of being casted out from heaven is greater than the pain Christ suffered on the cross''. THAT is the premise of authentic ''satanism'', not radicalised libertarian egoism. I call this weblog ''a journal of post-modern gnosticism'', but in fact I do not claim to be a gnostic, only perhaps a self referential fellow traveller.
